Recce Shots

Here is an old bunker which we will use in our music video. This setting very much suits our type of music genre as it gives it a surreal atmosphere.

The larger buildings can also be used in our video to show how big our location is with the size of some of the buildings.

We will use this old, rusty abandoned car in our music video during a smoking scene. Using props like this could make our music video stand out as cars this old are extremely rare to students on a low budget making a music video.

We will film inside this building with a medium close up shot of our performer up against the wall showing the 'enquires' sign, showing off how old our location is and what it was used for during the war.

Being situated in a large forest gives it that secluded feel which will suit out lead singer, as he is a lonely man with his guitar using his music as a way to earn money in the way of busking.

There is a road situated directly outside the bunkers which we will use as a location for our lead singer to walk alone with his guitar.

Dummy Shots - Lip syncing and slow motion effects

Normal Lip Syncing - Here you can see our performer doing normal lip syncing, this is the easiest way to perform lip syncing but not always the most effective.

Fast Lip Syncing - Here is our performer lip syncing twice as fast as the original soundtrack before it is slowed down.

Slowed Down Lip Syncing - here is the effect of using slow motion lip syncing. To see the effect in a real music video view the video below.

Here is another example of the various ways of lip syncing. The lead singer of Coldplay, Chris Martin is performing slow motion lip syncing. You can see his mouth is in time but his body is moving slower.

Here is another example of different ways to lip sync. This one is very uncommon as Chris Martin had to learn the lyrics backwards so they could play the music video backwards but his mouth would be lip syncing the words correctly.
